We're joyfully out for the second weekend in a row to support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s--chilly sprinkles and all. We walk because we believe there will be a cure someday. We walk for hope, for our residents, for their families and for everyone who has been touched by Alzheimer’s.

What does assisted living really offer?

It offers the right amount of help without taking away independence. It can mean support with medications or daily routines, freshly prepared meals, engaging activities, transportation and a team nearby when assistance is needed. Just as importantly, it offers connection. Neighbors become friends, everyday moments become shared experiences and residents have new opportunities to stay involved in the things they enjoy.

This National Assisted Living Week, we’re shining a brighter light on the people who make our communities what they are. Supporting our team members means offering meaningful benefits, opportunities to grow and recognition when someone goes above and beyond. That’s why this week we’re launching the Vineyard Park Senior Living 5C Champion Award!

Team members can nominate a coworker who demonstrates Care, Consistency, Compliance, Community or Contribution. Each community will select one champion every month to receive a 5C Champion pin and additional reward! Monthly winners will also be eligible for larger companywide awards.

The work our team members do matters—and it deserves to be noticed and celebrated.
