🎨💙 Volunteers rock at Full Life Care!

Our incredible volunteers recently came together for a creative mixer at our Beacon Hill headquarters, painting colorful rocks that will soon brighten the garden spaces of our Adult Day Health participants.

While the activity was fun, the impact runs much deeper. Volunteers bring heart, energy, and connection into everything we do. Whether they are creating welcoming spaces, building relationships, or supporting daily programs, their presence helps make our work possible.

Volunteers are essential to Full Life Care. They expand our reach, strengthen our community, and play a vital role in bringing joy and purpose to those we serve. 🌱✨

🌎💚 Celebrating Earth Day through service at Full Life Care!

On April 22, a team of 8 volunteers from PitchBook joined us for PitchBook Global Volunteer Days, bringing their time, energy, and compassion to our community.

They jumped in behind the scenes by sorting greeting cards, arranging flowers, and refreshing the container garden display at the front of our Beacon Hill headquarters, helping create a welcoming and vibrant space for everyone who walks through our doors.

They also spent meaningful time with Adult Day Health clients, supporting Earth Day-themed crafts and helping participants plant seeds for their indoor gardens, creating moments of connection, creativity, and joy.

Volunteers make these experiences possible. Their support helps strengthen community, uplift our clients, and bring our mission to life every day. Thank you, PitchBook team, for making a difference! 🌱✨

Giving back in action at Full Life Care! 💙 During Serve with Liberty Week, two corporate teams from Liberty Mutual Insurance rolled up their sleeves and made a meaningful impact across our community.

From preparing a Spring mailing for ElderFriends participants to refreshing garden beds at our Beacon Hill headquarters, their behind-the-scenes support helped things bloom in more ways than one.
They also spent time with Adult Day Health clients, sharing smiles, handing out inspirational Spring cards, and helping clients create and decorate their own cards for loved ones. The day was filled with connection, laughter, balloon volleyball, and friendly games.

Thank you to this incredible group of 9 volunteers for bringing such energy, compassion, and joy. Your time truly makes a difference! 🌱✨

Our 2025 Volunteer Impact Report is now live, and the impact is incredible.

This year, 385 volunteers gave 8,048 hours of their time, contributing $335,601 in value to support Full Life Care programs. Most importantly, that support is making a real difference.
85% of elders in our programs report feeling less lonely. That is the power of showing up for one another.

Full Life Care’s volunteer Care Teams provide family caregivers with emotional, social, and practical support when they need it most. Kayte, a caregiver in our Caregiver Respite program, shared what one volunteer has meant to her and her mother:

“One of the biggest blessings for us both has been the care and support we’ve gotten from our dear volunteer, Devian. He is why I’m still sane. Thanks again, for the difference you make in the lives of others!”

As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are grateful for our longtime partners, the University Presbyterian Church Sewing Group. 🧵✨ For over 20 years, they have lovingly created lap quilts, clothing protectors, and walker bags for clients in our Adult Day Health and outreach programs. This dedicated group also supports several other organizations and is passing their skills on to new members to keep this tradition going strong. We are thankful for their time, talent, and the care they bring to our community year after year. 💙

Happy 1-year ElderFriends anniversary to Chloe and Barbara! 💙 During Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are especially grateful for friendships like this that show the power of meaningful connection. Thanks to dedicated ElderFriends volunteers, 60 older adults receive monthly visits, with friendships lasting more than two years on average. Thank you for making a difference in our community.

Thank you to students from Delta Epsilon Mu at University of Washington - Alpha Kappa Chapter for brightening our Adult Day Health Program with paper flowers, cards, and hands-on craft activities. Volunteers from schools, companies, and the community bring connection and joy to our participants year-round.
