This wonderful young woman came to see me complaining of all the classic symptoms patients have when they have large, heavy breasts: back pain, neck, pain, grooves in the shoulders from bra straps, and difficulty fitting into clothing, not to mention trouble with normal day-to-day activities with large, heavy breasts in the way. She is now about four months out from a bilateral breast reduction, where we removed over 2 kg of tissue, with around 250 more grams removed from the right than the left to address her pre-existing asymmetry. We are thrilled with her result, especially the symmetry, and she is excited to feel like a new person!

Staff Spotlight: Karine J. Davis, ARNP
Surgical Nurse Practitioner

Meet Karine J. Davis, ARNP, a board certified Nurse Practitioner who has been part of Washington Plastic Surgery since early 2014.

With 20 years of nursing experience, Karine plays an important role in assisting in the operating room with breast and hand reconstructive procedures, as well as evaluating patients throughout their postoperative care. She has a special passion for caring for breast cancer reconstruction patients and is directly involved in their preoperative care, postoperative care and healing journey.

Karine is also a Facial Aesthetic Injector and evaluates patients for Botox, facial fillers, laser hair removal, photofacial treatments and microneedling.

Her professional philosophy is centered on providing each patient with an individualized and realistic treatment plan based on their personal needs and goals.

Outside of the clinic, Karine enjoys spending time in the Pacific Northwest hiking, cycling, trail running and gardening.
