I tell my patients to get an infection. On purpose.

A trace of spit on a knife can give you the flu in 24 hours. The same trace of kimchi, dropped into a glass of water, puts millions of beneficial microbes into a gut that's been starved for decades.

Rebuild your microbiome.

Most doctors won't order a preventive MRI scan because they haven't been trained to recognize what to look for.

The good news?

You don't need approval from your P*P. You can schedule an MRI on your own and learn to read it yourself.

Can someone really gain 15 pounds in 2 weeks? I've seen it happen.

It depends on the microbiome, but most people eat way too many carbs.

Just because some people can eat honey and get away with it shouldn't encourage you.

Stick with healthy meat and fermented foods.

You insure the house, and you neglect the body that lives in it.

You service the car, and you neglect the heart that drives it.

You audit the bank account, and you neglect the one asset you can't afford to lose.

Your body is the only thing you own that you treat as disposable and irreplaceable in the same breath. Your health is the only wealth that matters, so don't trade it in for something lesser.

Animals in the wild react immediately...or they die. Humans need to warm up before sprinting because they're diseased.

Start getting rid of your visceral fat, and in the meantime, warm up before working out. But know that the need to warm up is a sign of unhealthiness. You're not as healthy as you think.

Visceral fat is the disease that hides inside a clean blood report.

Reassuring and lethal in the same breath, growing in the one place your labs were never built to look.

You're not as healthy as you think.

06/10/2026

Visceral fat kills more people every year than cancer.

You need to get an MRI to see it, and, more importantly, see it go away as you optimize your health.

06/10/2026

I've reviewed over 6,000 MRIs. The fat that's killing you isn't the fat you can pinch. It's wrapped around your heart and threaded through your muscle.

And almost nothing you've been told to do touches it.

Here's what actually works:

1. Diet and fasting

Counting calories loses weight, but it doesn't lose disease. Keto is better. Carnivore is better still. But you're not trying to weigh less. You're trying to lose disease, both present and future.

Skipping one meal does little. Going 24-48 hours flips your body into the repair state your ancestors lived in between hunts. Extended fasting beats intermittent. Intermittent beats grazing all day. Your body heals when you stop feeding it.

2. Exercise

Steady, elevated cardio keeps your cortisol elevated for hours after you stop, causing extended periods of harm. But if you sprint to exhaustion in 30 seconds, your cortisol crashes below where it started.

Walk for hours. Sprint for seconds. Avoid jogging.

Nothing releases more myokines than sprinting. Myokines are the messengers that tell your body to burn visceral fat and build muscle.

3. Sauna

A dry sauna, 15 minutes, 4-7x a week, cuts death from heart attack and stroke by over 50%. No pill matches that. No supplement has those benefits.

Stop treating your body as if it's disposable.

Stop chasing weight. Start hunting disease.

Yes, visceral fat is the root cause of many ills. Every marker of disease goes down when you get rid of visceral fat.

06/09/2026

Skipping one meal barely registers.

Go 24 to 48 hours without food, and your body drops into the repair state your ancestors lived in between hunts.
