Wooden Gladiolus 🌸

These are the first of a series of Mahogany wood topped earrings that I collaborated with a local wood worker to design and craft.
If you love the look of wood and beads together and love supporting your local makers then this collection is made for you…a Vermont collaboration in texture, color, and movement.

Max at Wood Z VT laser-etches a detailed gladiolus bloom onto warm Vermont mahogany — the wood grain becomes part of the art. Mina wraps the top in vivid fuschia thread with delicate gold accents, then hand-strings silky fringe in an ombré of charcoal, soft blush, and warm copper glass beads.

Statement earrings without the statement-earring weight. Art you can wear to brunch, gallery nights, the office, or dinner

I Do Fern Fringe

Of all the pairs of earrings I have made so far this pair probably represents me the most. Ferns are my favorite. The kind forest that was my childhood backyard was full of them. There are beautiful fern groves that line the pathways throughout the property. I remember being a kid running the paths, grabbing ahold of the ferns and stripping all the leaves off them as I passed simply because it felt cool. Dad would always be disgruntled about us kids ruining them.
The bead colors are my favorite blues, a combination of sky blue and periwinkle mixed with earthy brown, soft orange and silver which were also my wedding colors that I keep going back to.
Made for the active outdoorsy woman who carries her stories with her. And also made to move with you from “I do” to every day after.
