🕊️ Join Our Grief Support Group - You Are Not Alone 🕊️

At Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, we understand the healing journey after loss, and we're here to support you every step of the way. It's essential to recognize that the stages of grief are not linear but rather cycles that people handle differently. It's okay to experience a range of emotions and take the time needed to heal.

Navigating grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone.

Our Grief Support Group meets on the second Friday of each month and offers a safe, compassionate space to share stories and connect with others who understand. Whether you’ve recently experienced a loss or are further along in your grief journey, we invite you to join us.

🗓 Next Meeting: Friday, August 14th [next week!]
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
📍 Location: 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks
🗓 Recurring: Every 2nd Friday of the month

🤍 Who supports the professionals who support everyone else? 🤍

Every day, professionals throughout our community walk alongside others through grief, trauma, crisis, and loss.

They care for aging adults and individuals with disabilities. They comfort patients and families. They respond to emergencies, guide people through life's most difficult moments, and help others navigate death, illness, tragedy, and profound change.

This work is deeply meaningful, but it can also take an emotional toll.

The Good Grief Gala: Dîner en Blanc was created to recognize and support those whose work intersects with grief, trauma, and loss.

Hosted by the Bereavement Network Resources of Sacramento (BNRS), this inaugural event brings together professionals from healthcare, senior services, disability services, hospice, funeral service, behavioral health, social work, education, public safety, and many other fields for an evening of reflection, connection, and community.

As the Presenting Sponsor, Dignity Memorial is honored to support BNRS's mission by extending more than an evening of connection. Every attendee will also receive three months of complimentary access to the Compassion Helpline, a confidential, 24/7 grief support service staffed by licensed counselors, because caring for those who care for others shouldn't end when the event does.
