Hey cosmic souls đžđ
This week, I had a realizationâI may have jumped back into society too quickly, and Iâm feeling the effects. Itâs fascinating to see what people consider âconnecting with natureâ when, for me, itâs been so much deeper. Last summer in Alaska, I was barefoot, rolling in moss, and taking đâfully immersed in the earthâs rhythms. Some might call that extreme or hippie, but in reality, it was a return to something primal, something real.
And yet, stepping back into urban life has shown me just how disconnected humans have become from true nature. The constant noise, overstimulation, and artificial environments have pulled my nervous system from a deeply regulated state back into shock. My mind is racing at a million miles a minute, not because Iâm overwhelmed, but because I havenât been able to adequately ground.
This is a reality for many neurodivergentsâour systems thrive in slowness, depth, and real connection with the natural world. Yet, most of modern society isnât designed for that. The question is, how do we adapt while still honoring what our bodies truly need?
If youâve ever felt overstimulated, restless, or like you just canât land in your own bodyâknow that youâre not alone. There are ways to reconnect, regulate, and return to yourself, even in the midst of chaos. Letâs explore that together. Somatice practices will be coming in March â¨âď¸
