Sept 17: You are in treatment or completed it at this cancer center. Brittany Stepovich ANP,AOCNP will explain why this is the right place for you and we will discuss the “what’s next?” questions.

Oct. 15: Pebble is back by popular demand! Chat, Laugh, and get your creative juices going. You can bring items to add, but there will be plenty of supplies.

Relay for Life Event

June 5th: Join the Dragonflies Wellness Group for the Survivors/Caregivers opening Victory Lap! West Valley High School Opening ceremonies: 6pm

Just search Relay for Life Fairbanks 2026. You can join our team: Dragonfly Breast Cancer Support Group AKA Evil Queens! and raise money for the American Cancer Society. You can just come and enjoy the comradery of being with other people who “get it.” It is an inspiring event.

June 17th Busy summer! The Breast Cancer Detection Center is having their Wine and Walk fundraiser. It starts the 5K walk at 5:30 pm at the Boatel. Enjoy the midnight sun with exercise!

April 16 2026: Rebekah Capen, Oncology social worker at the Cancer Center will be here to discuss navigation support. She will include body image, physical and emotional changes, and survivorship supports. She encourages you to bring any ideas about gaps in service that she can fill.

May 21 2026: ***We are excited to have Dr. Amy Loschert, ND FABNO coming up from Anchorage. She is the director of integrative and supportive Oncology Services at Anchorage Radiation Oncology Center. How does naturopathic medicine contribute to cancer treatment during and after?

There is no meeting on Thursday, June 18th 2026! We will walk the first lap together on Friday evening, June 5 with Relay for Life. You can sign up online if you want to donate or have other people who want to donate. More info will be posted.

For the month of April only, the meeting date is changed to the third Tuesday at 7:15. We will be meeting at Heartstream Yoga studio, 3677 College Road. College mall corner of Univ and College Rd

April 15: Tuesday (before the 3rd Thursday) 7:15pm. Meditation and breathing techniques lead by Gabe Witte. This meeting will be at Heartstream Yoga in college mall.
