Last week, our Fire Marshal and both techs attended a community event sponsored by Fish Pantry. Thanks for having us!

🔥 Skip the Bin. Turn Batteries In!🔥

Batteries do NOT belong in your trash or recycling bin. Whether it's alkaline, lithium-ion, or even the small batteries from greeting cards, putting them in your bin can cause dangerous fires during transport and sorting.

Instead, bring ALL batteries to Greene County Environmental Services for safe recycling. Accept during all operating hours, no special events required.

This week, we had instructors out from the Ohio Fire Academy going over aerial operations with our brand new SPH100 Sutphen ladder truck. It was valuable training for our crews, thank you OFA! Crews are training this week on a maneuverability cone course along with logging drive time on the road to ensure safety and proficiency with our new Sutphen ladder truck! Very exciting for us and the community as Ladder 2 gets closer to being in service!
