❤️🐾 When tragedy strikes one rescue, the entire animal-loving community comes together.

Our hearts are with the team at Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue in Wilson, North Carolina, following a devastating fire that destroyed much of their rescue facility.

Tragically, at least 30 cats lost their lives, and many of the surviving cats are now in need of veterinary care, temporary housing, food, and ongoing support as the rescue works to recover from this unimaginable loss.

At Fairfax Veterinary Hospital, we are joining efforts to help these cats and the dedicated people caring for them. We will be accepting donations of:
🐱 Canned cat food
🧺 Blankets
🧼 Towels
Donations can be dropped off at Fairfax Veterinary Hospital, and we will help ensure they reach the rescue and the cats who need them most.

🏠 Interested in fostering?
Foster homes can make a tremendous difference during times of crisis. If you are interested in providing foster support, please contact us to learn more.

If you would like to make a monetary donation directly to Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue, you can do so through:
💚 Cash App: $PHCR
💚 Venmo:
💚 PayPal & Zelle: [email protected]

Every donation, every foster home, and every act of kindness helps bring hope and healing to these cats and the people who care for them.

Thank you for helping us support our fellow animal rescue community during this difficult time. Together, we can make a difference. ❤️

to anti-anxiety medications, we can help create a plan that’s right for your pet.

Pet parents, this is your reminder to double-check those pretty plants before bringing them home — some popular spring blooms can be toxic to our curious cats & dogs. 🌿
