Fairfax Community Hospital is a 15-bed critical access hospital providing high-quality care distinguished by patient satisfaction feedback/results. We offer a b

road range of services including Emergency, Radiology, Laboratory, Inpatient Care, Rehabilitation Services, Respiratory Therapy, and Swing Bed. Also offered at Fairfax Community Hospital are EEGs and EKGs, MRIs and Sleep Apnea Studies. Our staff includes physicians and providers representing a range of medical training and experience as well as caring and experienced physician assistants, nurses and support staff. The staff has numerous resources available ranging from modern equipment to advanced patient care software to utilize while treating all types of medical conditions.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Charlie Cartwright, a deeply respected member of our Rural Wellness Fairfax Hospital board and a pillar of the Osage County community.

Charlie dedicated nearly 40 years to law enforcement before serving as Osage County Commissioner for District 3. His commitment to the people of Oklahoma left a lasting impact on all who knew him. In his honor, Governor Stitt has ordered flags on state property to fly at half-staff through May 22.

Charlie was more than a board member — he was a valued partner in our mission to serve this community. He will be deeply missed.

Big news for Fairfax!

We are thrilled to share that a brand-new Fairfax Rural Health Clinic, managed by Avem Health Partners, is on the way! This new facility will bring expanded primary care services right to the heart of our community making quality healthcare closer to home for the families who need it most.

The existing clinic has served this community well, and this new build is our commitment to doing even more. From routine checkups to ongoing care, we can't wait to open our doors and serve you in a whole new way.

Stay tuned for updates as construction progresses. The best is yet to come for Fairfax!
