At Your Choice Home Care, families trust us to help care for their loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes. We take that responsibility seriously.

We’re looking for a Nurse Educator/Instructor who shares that passion.

This is a hands-on, field-based role traveling throughout New Jersey, training caregivers and DSPs on medication administration, CPR/First Aid, Medical Service Plans and the specific medical needs of the individuals they support.

Because training shouldn’t just check a box. Our caregivers need to be prepared, confident and ready to provide the best care possible.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that caring for our mental well-being is just as important as caring for our physical health.

For individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health plays an important role in overall well-being, quality of life, and the ability to achieve personal goals. It's equally important for family caregivers, who often balance many responsibilities while providing love and support every day.

Taking care of your mental health doesn't have to mean making big changes. Sometimes it's as simple as taking a few moments to rest, reaching out to someone you trust, spending time doing something you enjoy, or asking for help when you need it.
