Those who know me, know that animal welfare is something very very important to me.

While I was in massage school, and early into my career in massage I was fortunate enough to be employed at Kennebec Valley Humane Society. The amazing crew there goes above and beyond every day into providing the proper care and treatment for the many animals that enter their facility, and LOVE and advocate for each one of those sweet babies. This is an extremely emotionally and physically taxing job, but yet the most rewarding job that I have ever had.

KVHS is different than a lot of animal shelters. Not only do they feed and house animals, they also provide extensive medical and dental care, and perform spay and neuters right on site to reduce the stress of the animals who need procedures before being adopted. This level of care is quite costly, requiring a lot of funding to make it possible to provide that quality care.

With all of that being said I am dedicating the rest of 2026 to give back to the selfless crew that works there, and the animals that reside at KVHS, and I am hoping my clients are willing to help me out!

For September, the employees of KVHS and anyone working in animal welfare gets $15 off any service💆🏻‍♀️

I will also be collecting donations now through the end of the year that will go directly to KVHS at the end of each month. For September anyone who donates through my business will be entered to win a free massage.
During the rest of the year I will be doing a different special every month for those who donate

I am excited to be partnering with KVHS for some of my giveaways, and super hopeful that together we can all contribute to a great cause and make a difference for the animals who need help finding their forever homes!🐾💖

to all my followers old and new,

firstly, i want to thank you all again for making my business dreams come true, trusting me, and allowing me to work on your bodies. after years and years of working for a corporation, creating and owning my very own small business is the most fulfilling thing i have ever done! however, with any business/job there are also challenges that arise

starting today, there are updates to my business policy going into effect.

i will be requiring a one time form to be filled out for each of my clients before i render any work going forward. this form will outline all expectations and rules related to my practice. this form will also go into detail about my cancellation policy which is also posted here below. i am also reposting my rates so everyone is clear on what would be due for cancellations.

i will require clients to have a card on file (you can still pay for your sessions with your preferred method of payment) as a safety measure to protect myself and my business. being a small business owner means that i rely on my work daily to pay my bills, and budget out my expenses. i have a household to provide for, i have booth rent to pay so i have a space to give massage, i have supplies to purchase and pets to feed. with that being said cancellations without a 24 hour notice to be able to fill the spot and ESPECIALLY no call no shows are incredibly impactful on maintaining all that was mentioned above. i don’t receive a set weekly paycheck, i don’t get paid time off. if i don’t work, or if someone cancels last minute, i don’t get paid. i appreciate you all for understanding that these changes are being put into place to protect my livelihood, so i can continue to deliver wonderful massage for all of my equally wonderful clients, and provide the best life that i can to my family and my pets.
