We are excited to share that Berry Compassionate, a limited-time ice cream flavor specially created for Community Nurse, will be returning for the summer season at McGraw’s Back Porch Ice Cream!

This month, we are proud to spotlight Tara, a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant who has been caring for others for 27 years. Tara has been part of the Community Nurse team for almost two years, bringing compassion, kindness, and a warm presence to the patients and families she serves.

Tara says she enjoys working at Community Nurse because of the organization’s commitment to always putting patients first. Her dedication to patient-centered care shines through in every visit.

Community Nurse was proud to host our first Elder Resource Exchange Networking Event at the Unitarian Memorial Church in Fairhaven, bringing together local organizations dedicated to supporting older adults and their families in our community.

It was a wonderful morning of meaningful introductions, helpful resources, and community partnerships. We are grateful to all the organizations that participated and shared the important work they do each day to serve elders with care, compassion, and commitment.

Events like this remind us how much stronger we are when we work together. We hope to make the Elder Resource Exchange an annual event and look forward to welcoming even more organizations in the future as we continue building relationships and sharing resources for the benefit of our community.
