Yesterday we celebrated our amazing Administrator Ashley in the best way we know how… by going ALL OUT! Her entire office (and even the drinks in the fridge) got the full tin foil treatment and it was priceless.

All jokes aside, Ashley is an incredible leader who brings so much heart, dedication, and positivity to our team every single day. We are beyond lucky to have her.

We hope you had the best birthday yesterday, Ashley. You deserve it and so much more. We love you!

From Total Dependence to 400 Feet Strong

Lynda Lamon came to Altera Health & Rehab facing significant challenges including severe weakness and dysphagia requiring a PEG tube.

At admission, Lynda required maximum assistance just to sit at the edge of the bed and was dependent for all transfers. She was unable to stand, walk, or even use a wheelchair.

Through determination and dedicated therapy over the course of her stay, Lynda made incredible progress. By discharge, she was walking 400 feet with a walker and was able to return to independent living with her husband.

Her journey is a powerful example of strength, perseverance, and what’s possible with the right support!

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women who give so much of themselves both at work and at home.

Our nurses and caregivers don’t just care for residents, they shape lives in more ways than one. After long shifts filled with compassion, patience, and dedication, they go home and continue that same love and care with their own families. The impact they make doesn’t end when they clock out.

To the mothers on our team, thank you for the strength you show, the sacrifices you make, and the example you set every single day. You are raising the next generation with the same kindness and heart you bring to our residents.
