Your jaw shouldn’t feel exhausted by lunchtime. 😬

Do you catch yourself clenching your teeth while driving, working, or scrolling your phone?

Jaw tension, facial fatigue, and clenching can have several contributing factors—including how your oral muscles function.

At Hello Myo, we evaluate tongue posture, oral muscle patterns, and function to determine whether myofunctional therapy may be appropriate.

💬 Tell me: Do you catch yourself clenching during the day or wake up with a tight jaw?

📲 Ready to find out whether your oral muscle patterns are part of the picture?

How’s your baby sleeping tonight? 💗

Sleeping all night doesn’t always mean sleeping well.

Mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, unusual sleep positions, teeth grinding, frequent waking, or waking up tired can all be signs that something deserves a closer look.

As a mom, I know how easy it is to simply feel relieved when they’re finally asleep. 🥹

As a myofunctional therapist, I also know that how our kids breathe and function while they sleep matters.

If something about your child’s sleep has always made you wonder, trust that instinct and start asking questions. 💗

✨ TMJ pain isn’t always just about the joint.

New research is highlighting something we talk about often at Hello Myo: how your mouth functions matters.

A recent pilot study looked at adults with muscle-related TMD and orofacial myofunctional disorders. Following orofacial myofunctional therapy, participants showed significant improvements in:

• TMJ-related pain
• Mouth opening
• Tongue mobility
• Quality of life

Why does this matter?

Your tongue, jaw, facial muscles, breathing, chewing, and swallowing are designed to work together. When those patterns aren’t functioning optimally, addressing function may be an important piece of a comprehensive approach to TMD.

And I LOVE seeing more research being published on the role of myofunctional therapy in adult care. 🙌

If you’re dealing with jaw tension, facial muscle pain, clenching, or other TMJ-related symptoms, there may be more to the story.

You put your kid to bed early…
so why do they STILL have dark circles? 👀

It may not be about how long they’re sleeping.
It may be about how well they’re breathing while they sleep.

Dark circles can have many causes, but when they show up alongside things like:

• Mouth breathing
• Snoring or noisy sleep
• Restless sleeping
• Open-mouth posture
• Waking tired despite enough sleep
• Bedwetting
• Difficulty focusing during the day

At Hello Myo, we look beyond bedtime and evaluate the functional patterns that may be affecting your child.

Think this sounds like your child? Let’s talk.
