✨ Meet the Owners of Your Choice Senior Care – Baldwin County ✨

We’d love for you to get to know the heart behind our Fairhope location, Paul and April Kunz 💚

Paul and April purchased YCSC Baldwin County in Fall 2020, and since then have truly enjoyed working together while continuing to learn and grow—always looking for ways to better support the families and seniors they serve.

Paul and April have worn just about every hat—HR, office managers, caregivers, and community service providers.

One of April's favorite things about her job is leading book club and delivering books to seniors around the county 📚 She loves tracking down the perfect read for residents and talking about it together. Fun fact: she grew up in a small town on a little island in Hawaii 🌺 If she could have any superpower, she’d choose teleportation—so she could be anywhere, anytime!

Paul grew up in a small rural town in Northern Utah and still loves being outdoors, especially riding horses. His favorite part of YCSC is meeting new people and helping families take care of their loved ones—it’s something that truly feels good to him. And if he could have a superpower? He says he’d take Wolverine’s ability to heal… because he’s always getting hurt and doesn’t heal like he used to 😂

Together, Paul and April care deeply about the people they serve and the community they’re part of—if you've been looking for help for you or a loved one, take this as your sign to reach out to the YCSC family.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Charetta! 🌟

We’re so excited to spotlight Charetta, one of our amazing Care Coordinators here at Your Choice Senior Care! For the past year and a few months, she has been a key part of helping our clients get the care and support they need—making sure communication flows smoothly and no detail is overlooked.

What Charetta loves most about her role is the chance to truly make a difference. She enjoys building real relationships with clients and their families and helping them feel supported every step of the way.

Here’s a fun fact about her—Charetta is also the President of a female motorcycle club! 🏍️ She leads, mentors, and brings together a community of women who share a love for riding and giving back. It’s just one more way she shows her passion for leadership and connection.

If she could have any superpower, she’d choose the ability to pause time (and honestly, who wouldn’t? 😊).

✨ Meet Our Team: Holly Watkins ✨

We’re excited to spotlight Holly Watkins, our amazing Care Coordinator/Scheduler here at Your Choice Senior Care! 💚

Holly has been part of our family since August 2018, bringing over 7 years of dedication and heart to everything she does. She plays a key role in making sure our clients and caregivers are supported, comfortable, and cared for every single day.

What Holly loves most about working here is the family-oriented atmosphere—something we’re so proud of! Her passion for caregiving was inspired by her close relationship with her grandmother, who had Alzheimer’s. That experience led Holly to discover her calling: helping seniors feel safe, healthy, and valued.

When she’s not busy making a difference, Holly enjoys watching zombie movies (The Walking Dead is her favorite) and spending time “trying” to fish 🎣.

Fun fact: If Holly could have any superpower, she’d choose telekinesis!

We’re so grateful to have Holly on our team—her dedication truly makes a difference every day. 💫

We were thrilled to be in attendance at the grand reopening of Brennity of Fairhope! It was such a wonderful event celebrating a beautiful space dedicated to senior care and community. We were also happy to contribute a gift basket and be part of such a special day.
