Renew Counseling Ministries will be hosting the Rewrite Your Story Marriage Conference on February 5th-6th 2027 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Akron, OH!

IT'S STAFF SPOTLIGHT TIME! ⭐

Meet Dr. Daniel Sanders, a clinician at our Tallmadge office! Dr. Sanders comes to Renew with vast experience both clinically and ministerially. He has served as a Christian Clinical and Counseling Psychologist for over 40 years including acting as the Chief Psychologist for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections at the super maximum prison. He has served in many ministries both nationally and internationally including as the previous head of a Marriage and Family Ministry.

Some fun facts about Dr. Sanders is that he performed with the International Cast of "Up With People" for two years in the US, Canada and Europe and he really enjoys jazz, performing arts, and films!

We love having Dr. Sanders a part of our Renew Family! 💜🥳

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. 🩵

Reminders for the men who were never taught to feel:

• Pain doesn’t make you less of a man. Carrying it alone doesn’t make you more of one.
• The hurt you hide still deserves healing. Even if no one ever gave you permission to speak it.
• Masculinity isn’t threatened by softness. It’s deepened by it.
• You don’t have to be the protector all the time. You get to be protected too.

We are SO excited to have Ingrid Monteith at our Tallmadge office! Ingrid brings over 35 years of experience in private practice as a clinical counselor in Northeast Ohio to Renew. 🥳

Ingrid grew up in a bilingual home in Cincinnati, Ohio, and from an early age felt drawn to a career in counseling. She attended Grove City College and earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron. Her faith is an important part of her life and shapes her compassionate approach to helping clients find understanding, support, and guidance.

Ingrid loves being outdoors—tending her garden and hiking. She also enjoys playing the piano and values the role music plays in worship, emotional expression, and connection with others.

Everyone, welcome Ingrid to our Renew team! 🩵
