A celebration of life service for Wendy L. Ziemer, 55, of Fairmont, MN, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont. Graveside services will be held following the service in Center Chain Cemetery, rural Fairmont, MN. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Wendy passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato, MN, after a courageous battle with cancer. A service honoring the life of Trent D. Johnson, 62, of Fairmont, MN, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, at the National Guard Armory in Fairmont, MN. Military honors will be held immediately following the service by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post #36 and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1222. Burial will be held in Center Chain Cemetery near Fairmont, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the armory. Trent passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
