We’re proud to share that Dr. Andrew Aschenbrenner and Melissa Dodd have been accepted into the IMPACT-AD training program.

This competitive national program prepares the next generation of Alzheimer’s disease clinical trial researchers. We’re especially pleased to see this tradition continue, as several KU ADRC and KUMC alumni have been selected in recent years.

We’re excited to share some meaningful progress from the KU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

We’re developing a new model — called the Brain Health Care Accelerator — to help move promising research findings into real clinical care more quickly. The goal is to make it easier for patients and families to benefit from new discoveries in brain health and dementia care, without having to wait years for those advances to reach everyday practice.

This work is all about closing the gap between what we’re learning in research and what actually happens in clinics and communities.
