I’ll tell you that where I am today, sometimes I don’t know how I made it here.
There were days and times that I thought would get the best of me…but I survived them all, incredibly.
Maybe it was my strength forged in the fires of life, perhaps it was the courage to believe that I could survive anything.
It may have even a bit of luck too, I really don’t know.
What I can tell you for sure is that I’ve tried to grow through the experiences that shaped who I’ve become- both good and bad.
The journey has hurt, it has taught me a lot about myself and most of all, it has made me stronger.
So, when I see the judging look in some people’s eyes about me, I just smile and keep walking .
They don’t know me, what I’ve been through or the choices that once confronted me..
And they don’t have to.
It’s my life and my story.
So let them read whatever version they’ve told themselves about me.
I know the real story, truth and where it’s headed.
They’re too busy judging while I’m dreaming, planning and evolving.
Soon, they’ll turn around and I’ll be gone.
That’s what happens when strong people with passion and principle are driven to become more.
We end up in the stars, living and loving in all the ways we’ve always wanted…
Happily ever after.
