Culmore Clinic Culmore Clinic is a 501c-3, non-profit healthcare clinic serving low-income adults in the Bailey’s Crossroads community at little to no cost.

Nonprofit healthcare clinic dedicated to advancing health by bringing the community together to provide medical care and health education at no cost to uninsured neighbors in Fairfax County. Supported by a diverse group of interfaith volunteers, healthcare providers, and donors, Culmore Clinic offers compassionate medical care, counseling services as well as specialty referrals. o care for all is displayed with their top-notch medical interpretation services to ensure effective treatment to the culturally diverse community in which they work. Volunteers founded The Clinic in 2007 and to this day it is still significantly volunteer run, allowing more resources to go toward patient care.

While we treat adult patients at Culmore Clinic, we have plenty of younger folks who accompany their Moms or Dads... especially during the summer months. Keeping children occupied with a custom coloring sheet so their parent can focus on their appointment with the provider is just one of the many ways we're providing care for the "whole person."

Thank you to those came out to support our second fresh food market! We are thrilled to gather the community and help spread healthy food habits with fresh, whole, foods. Last week, we held our second cohort meeting; Nutrition 1! We provided patients with valuable information about nutrition facts & labels, calorie intake and functions, and healthy eating habits to ensure daily intake of essential nutrients. Participants were able to take advantage of the snacks provided, which also gave them the opportunity to explore nutrient facts labels! We also exposed them to the My Plate method and had them practice using the method to get healthy portions of all the important food groups. 🍽️

UPDATE: New location for the Friday Fresh Food Markets. Our friends at First Christian Church, Falls Church have invited us to host the event in their easy-to-find parking lot! The next market is coming up Friday, July 31st from 1 pm to 4 pm. Plan to join us and Arcadia Farm for fresh locally sourced foods, veggies, protein and more! Some news -- after just five months in our Bailey's Crossroads space, the building was sold, and we're being asked to move again.

It's not the timing we would have chosen. But our patients are counting on us, and we've found a new interim home nearby — one that puts us right alongside partners like Inova Cares for Families, NovaScripts Central, and Northern Virginia Family Services. For the patients we serve, that means more support in one place.

Moves are never simple, and this one came with little notice. If you're able to help with the costs of getting settled, or have a few hours to lend a hand packing or setting up, we'd be grateful.
