Everyone was all smiles celebrating our newest Values Hero this week! The Employee Engagement Committee voted and selected Adrienne Calandrella, Staff Nurse RN to join the ranks of her fellow Value Hero award recipients. 🥳 We love that on the heels of Nurses’ Week earlier in May, a nurse was among the nominees – and twice over at that!
Adrienne’s Gosnold Story is pretty cool! Keep reading for more on her growth within the company, as shared by her nominators.
“I would like to nominal Adrienne for the May Values Hero Award. Adrienne has been a proud employee of Gosnold for years. She started as a Recovery Aide and Unit Coordinator. She continued work while attending nursing school and successfully obtained her license as an LPN. While working at GTC as an LPN, she went back to school to further her education and became a Registered Nurse. She has grown as an individual and a professional over the years. She is a reliable and supportive member of the Gosnold team. She has stepped up as a resource and Charge Nurse, offering guidance and support to her peers and patients. I am proud to have Adrienne as part of our GTC team and a fellow nurse. Happy Nurse's Week!” – Dani Dern, Senior Director of Acute Services
“Adrienne consistently demonstrates outstanding performance, dedication, and a positive attitude. She is always willing to pick up shifts. She was a GTC Recovery Aide, earned her LPN, and within one year had her RN. She is a charge nurse and has outstanding leadership skills. [Adrienne can always be counted on] to keep the unit running smoothly.” – Nichole Maiolini, Nursing Supervisor
Please give a shout-out to Adrienne for her clear dedication – not only to her personal and professional growth, but also to the Gosnold mission, vision, and values as reflected in her commitment to the organization and our patients. It took a lot of hard work, diligence, and determination to achieve what she has in a short span of time and to continue to give that to our community is worth celebrating. Thank you, Adrienne!
