Brandon completed his 2,197.9-mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail this August and we couldn’t be prouder! 🥾

He walked all 14 states from Georgia to Maine to honor his dad, Layne Oliff, who passed away from ALS in April 2025. Hiking the AT was on Layne’s bucket list. Because his dad could no longer walk it, Brandon stepped up to finish the dream for him—turning his journey into a fundraiser for CCALS.

We couldn't be prouder to sponsor the Falmouth Road Race wheelchair division 💚

The ASICS Falmouth Road Race is excited to partner with Care ALS (CCALS), the official sponsor of our wheelchair division! CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services they offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicare/Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. We invite you to support Team CCALS at this year’s event by visiting their fundraising page at https://falmouth.ccals.org/donate/, and cheering for their runners along the course!
