When we honor a life, we don’t have to make it perfect.
We just have to make it true.
Tell the stories. Remember the quirks. Say the things that make people laugh and think, “Yep. That was them.”
And don’t be afraid of the tears that may follow.
Laughter and grief can exist in the same room. Both belong.
Because when we remember someone honestly, not just how they died, but how they lived, we eventually find our way back to what mattered most.
Love.
A little laughter.
Room for grief.
A life remembered honestly.
And always, a way back to love.
