❤️ COMMUNITY WISH LIST FOR A NEW ERA SOBER LIVING ❤️
Fargo, ND & Moorhead, MN
At A New Era Sober Living, we believe recovery is about more than just staying sober. It’s about rebuilding lives, restoring confidence, creating stability, and giving people a real chance at a better future.
Every day, our homes provide safe, structured, peer-supported housing for men and women working hard to overcome addiction and become productive members of the community again. Many of our clients come to us with very little, but they come with hope — and we do everything we can to help them succeed.
As a fully self-supporting sober living program, all client fees go directly back into housing expenses and program costs such as utilities, staffing, transportation support, and drug/alcohol testing. Because of that, replacing household items or adding recreational items for our clients can sometimes be difficult, so we occasionally turn to our community for help.
Our clients recently put together a “wish list” of items they would love to have for the homes this summer, and we wanted to share it with the community in hopes that someone may be willing to help. ❤️
🏠 CURRENT NEEDS:
• 3 window A/C units for one of our homes without air conditioning
• 4 basketball hoops (one for each home)
• Outdoor games like co****le, horseshoes, etc.
• 2 coffee tables
• 4 living room end tables
• 1 deep freezer or refrigerator
• Extra sheets & blankets
• Pillows
• Bicycles
• NEW twin mattresses only (due to bed bug prevention policies, we cannot accept used mattresses)
Anything gently used is greatly appreciated unless otherwise specified.
Something as simple as a bicycle, a basketball hoop, or extra blankets may not seem life-changing to most people — but to someone rebuilding their life from the ground up, it can mean more than words can explain. These items help create comfort, normalcy, fellowship, and positive activities within the homes.
All donations go directly to the clients living in our sober homes.
