Having 20/20 vision means you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. If a person has 20/50 vision, it means that they must be as close as 20 feet to see what a person with normal vision can see at 50 feet. This means they would most likely benefit from corrective lenses such as glasses or contacts.

Monday Myth-Buster! 🧠👓

Myth: Reading in the dark will permanently damage your eyes.

Fact: False! While reading in low light can cause temporary eye strain, fatigue, and dryness, it does not cause lasting structural damage to your vision. However, if you're constantly squinting to see clearly, it might be time for an updated prescription!
