This Tuesday was 🧡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🧡and we'd like to recognize and celebrate our recruiting team for the role they play in shaping Monarch communities across Minnesota.

The work you do often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day. Every connection made, every conversation started, and every team member welcomed helps strengthen our communities and support the residents and families we serve.

This afternoon our residents had a flaming good time out on our north patio where they made (and enjoyed) some delicious gooey s’mores.

Tis the season for graduation fun! This afternoon Alejandro (Nursing Aide in Training) swung by with his mother to surprise our residents during bingo after officially finishing his high school career.

Alejandro is the son of our Social Service Director Kristin and started his health care journey working with our culinary department. He then went onto our Therapeutic Recreation team (where he blossomed according to his Director, Carrie). Most recently he had decided to continue to grow within the Monarch family by going into our Nursing Aide in Training program where he will receive the education & hands on training to prepare him for being a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).

Alejandro has plans to attend college to pursue a nursing degree.

Growth, love, family and support are just a few things The Emeralds at Faribault is all about!

This afternoon, our Therapeutic Recreation Director, who doesn't possess much of a green thumb, received assistance with planting this year's garden. Cucumbers have been planted, and additional items will be added to the garden next week.

We hope all our friends, family, and staff have a wonderful weekend.

Our residents gathered this afternoon to honor May birthdays with a delightful spread of pie, ice cream, and drinks. The month of May has provided us with many reasons to be thankful and celebrate those who stay with us.

Goodies were flying off the shelves at our freshly stocked Activity Store today! Our residents lined the halls for their turn to shop!

With each activity our residents attend they receive an activity buck that can be used when the store is open.

Once again we would like to thank those who have donated to the store and helping us spread the smiles & joy!

It has been a busy and exciting week as we celebrated the 2026 National Skilled Nursing Care Week. The theme was “Moments in Bloom”. This theme highlights how everyday acts of compassion, connection, and teamwork between caregivers and residents grow into meaningful, life-enriching experiences.
