If a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member began struggling with their mental health or substance use, would you know what to notice, what to say, and what to do next?

That’s exactly what I help people learn through LifePath Systems’ Adult Mental Health First Aid training. Hi, I’m Carlie Allison, the Mental Health First Aid Coordinator and Outreach Specialist at LifePath Systems.

Join me for a virtual course where you’ll learn how to:
• Recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults
• Start a supportive conversation
• Provide initial help during a difficult moment or crisis
• Connect someone with appropriate resources and support

The course includes approximately two hours of self-paced online learning, followed by a five-hour live class with me on Zoom. You can complete the self-paced portion on your own schedule, and it does not have to be finished all at once.

Complete the full course and you’ll earn a Mental Health First Aid certification valid for three years.

Registration is limited to people who live, work, or attend school in Collin County, Texas. Please do not register if you have completed Adult Mental Health First Aid within the past 12 months.

You do not have to be a mental health professional to make a difference. You simply need to know how to recognize when someone may need help and how to respond.
