Lead with Confidence: Equine Therapy & Horsemanship Summer Camp
Most camps teach kids to ride. This one teaches them to lead - in the saddle and in life.
Co-led by a riding instructor and a licensed therapist, campers spend each morning building real horsemanship skills alongside real confidence and communication. A typical day might include:
🐴 Grooming, tacking up, and learning walk/trot transitions in the saddle
🤝 Guided leading challenges and boundary work on the ground
🧩 Team obstacle courses and problem-solving tasks with their horse
🎨 Creative projects and intentional exercises to practice communication and regulation
It all builds toward the same goal: kids who struggle with self-confidence, communication, or just learn best by doing get to practice those skills in a safe, hands-on setting that follows them into real life.
