Please welcome to Lead The Way, Karly Smith MOT, OTRL! 🎉

Karly received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University in 2017. She has experience supporting children and families across home, school, and outpatient settings with a variety of developmental, sensory, and motor needs.

Karly believes children learn best through play and relationships. She is passionate about creating fun, engaging therapy sessions that build skills while helping children feel confident, connected, and regulated. Karly enjoys partnering with families, providing practical education and strategies that empower caregivers to support their child’s development and regulation beyond the therapy session.

In addition to her clinical work, Karly partners with the Danny Boy Foundation to develop educational programming for schools and universities that support neurodivergent individuals. Outside of work, Karly enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, reading, and cooking.
