Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that your mind deserves rest as much as your body does.

When stress builds up, your nervous system stays switched on. Floating gives it a chance to power down. Weightless, floating, free from light, sound, and gravity, your body can shift out of fight-or-flight and into a deeper state of calm.

Give yourself an hour to reset this weekend. You deserve it.

Remember to slow down. 🤍

What does 1000+ lbs of salt look like?

Epsom salt, magnesium sulfate, has been shown to alleviate anxiety and improve sleep. It helps with aches and pains, whether from arthritis, injury, or illness. It’s a hair natural volumizer and can help soothe eczema, rosacea, and acne. It helps with digestion and migraines and is good for your heart. It lowers the stress hormone cortisol and can help balance other hormones as well. Are you still reading? Cause I can keep going!

It’s estimated that up to 80% of the population is magnesium deficient, and a huge part of that has to do with farming practices and soil health, but that’s a whole other topic. The point is an astounding number of not only necessary, but integral, biochemical processes depend on magnesium, and each pod contains 1000 pounds of the stuff!

All this dissolved in just 10” of water.

It’s a common misconception, but there is a lot that goes into “float therapy”, aka “sensory deprivation therapy” or “REST” (Reduced Environmental Stimulus Therapy).

With over 1,000+ pounds of Epsom Salt dissolved in just 10 inches of warm water, you’re going to float like a cork on the surface, dropping into a unique state of pure weightlessness and deep relaxation. (It’s totally effortless. You can fall asleep ON the water!)

There’s real science and research behind it too. Floating is clinically proven to provide pain relief, stress reduction, and a calm, focused mindset for days after the float. That’s because during the hour, pressure points diminish, tension fades away, inflammation decreases, blood pressure drops, and the brain experiences a significant reduction in stimuli.

Here are the 5 major differences over a pool, a tub, or the ocean:

1. One thousand pounds of Epsom salt, in just 10” of water.

2. The 30% salt solution is so buoyant you float like a cork, it’s even safe to fall asleep ON the water!! There is nothing this buoyant on the planet, its nearly zero gravity which provides profound pain relief.

3. This one’s important. The option to have it be 100% light-proof and sound-proof.

4. An enclosed lid with precisely maintained skin temperature water (93-95) degrees, matching the air temperature exactly so that the air, the water, and your body become one sensation. It’s bliss, but it can only happen inside a pod.

5. A private spa environment where you can totally relax and leave all distractions behind.

Floating is clinically studied for chronic pain, anxiety, depression, addiction, insomnia, and more.

Once you float, you’ll know for yourself!

• Those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis

• People with chronic inflammation leading to back pain, neck pain or muscle pain

• Those experiencing muscle tension or stress headaches

The list goes on!

A new study in Neuroscience of Consciousness followed 75 people with anxiety and depression through six float sessions.

The result: a distinct altered state the researchers named “aquahenosis”, oneness with water.

People described feeling boundless, weightless, and connected in ways that overlapped with experiences reported after psilocybin and ketamine, minus the visual effects.

The strongest results came from the group that floated longer and set their own schedule. And the feeling of expansiveness itself helped explain the lift in mood afterward.

“Floating feels like oneness.” This new study puts language and data behind something our clients have been saying for years.

Have you tried floating yet??

Over 1,000 pounds of epsom salt help you float effortlessly for weightless pain relief and profound relaxation. The water is so buoyant that you’ll literally float on the surface, effortlessly relieving pain, stress, and tension.

Tag someone you would try this with!

1,200 lbs of Epsom salt. 10 inches of water. Zero effort to float.

This mixture creates a specific gravity of 1.25, making a float pod 25% denser than regular water.

When your body is weightless, your muscles finally let go. No pressure on your joints, no tension in your spine, just total decompression.

That relief signals your nervous system to shift out of fight-or-flight and into deep rest, melting away stress and chronic pain in ways that are hard to find anywhere else.

People walk out feeling more relaxed than they knew was possible. Athletes use it to recover faster. People with chronic pain use it to finally get relief. And everyone in between uses it to just... breathe.

This is float therapy. And we use this little tool every day to make sure every session is perfect.🤍

“We now have data to show, in fact, this is a form of sensory enhancement. But of the internal world.”

Dr. Feinstein’s work focuses on people with PTSD, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia, and generalized anxiety. For those with anxiety disorders, learning to meditate can be challenging due to the relentless mental chatter. He said many of his patients experienced floating as an easier way to quiet the brain and arrive at the same relaxed state as dedicated meditators.

Research conducted at Karlstad University in Sweden has found that floating three times a week for four weeks significantly reduced symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder, which include excessive worry, edginess, irritability, and an unrealistic view of problems, among other challenges. At a six-month follow-up, 37 percent of the treatment group was found to be at full remission.
