Welcome to the Century Club, Velma!

Born in 1926 in Los Angeles, Velma has lived a hundred years full of hard work, family, and adventure — from her first job at the US Naval Day Docks in San Pedro to 33 years as a secretary at the Brown Shoe Company. She and her husband Freeman even celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Hawaii, Fiji, and New Zealand. These days, you'll find her at Cedarhurst of Farmington browsing the community library and making new friends.

Cedarhurst of Farmington is expanding with the addition of 23 new Independent Living Cottages. The thoughtfully designed cottages will complement the community's existing Assisted Living and Memory Care offerings.

Designed for adults 55+, the new Independent Living Cottages at Cedarhurst of Farmington will feature spacious two-bedroom floor plans with walk-in closets, full-sized kitchen appliances, in-home laundry with a washer and dryer included, private garages equipped with electric vehicle outlets, covered patios, and cozy gas fireplaces.

In addition, residents will enjoy exclusive amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, shuffleboard court, putting green, and dog park. Cottage residents will also have access to the activity programming, therapy services, and transportation offered through Cedarhurst of Farmington's Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Housekeeping and utilities are included, providing truly maintenance-free living.
