Trailhead Adventures helps carry recovery goals beyond the therapy room and into real life. Through shared challenges, time outdoors, and guided reflection, clients can practice confidence, communication, emotional regulation, healthy coping, and trust in themselves and others. 🤝

The experience is the opportunity; the growth comes from connecting it back to each person’s recovery objectives. Every challenge becomes a chance to build skills, recognize strengths, and take another step forward.

🗣️"In recovery, taking that first step can be the hardest for many individuals. Because of that, I strive to be fully present and give 100% of my effort to every client 100% of the time, every time.

By showing consistency, compassion, and support, I hope to not only assist them through the process but also serve as a source of encouragement and inspiration as they move forward on their path to recovery"

There's a reason Dion is the first point of contact for clients. 🙌

💜 SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH! 💜
This September, Cottonwood Pathways is ready to CELEBRATE RECOVERY and PAINT RECOVERY PURPLE! 💜
Recovery is more than overcoming addiction. It is about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, reconnecting families, and creating stronger communities — Mind, Body & Soul.
This year, we wanted to make a statement.
💜 For National Recovery Month, we have painted the logos of our Cottonwood Companies — along with our partners at Brenda’s House of Hope — PURPLE in recognition of recovery, hope, strength, and every person continuing to fight for a better tomorrow.
Because when one person finds recovery, the impact can reach a family.
When families begin to heal, communities begin to heal.
And when a community comes together to support recovery, we all become stronger.

💜 NOW WE’RE CHALLENGING YOU! 💜
👉 TAG YOUR RECOVERY PARTNERS!
👉 Tag the organizations, treatment providers, recovery advocates, community leaders, businesses, friends, and families who stand behind recovery.
Then challenge them to PAINT RECOVERY PURPLE! 💜
Display a simple purple ribbon at your front desk
Change your logo purple.
Wear purple.
Light your building purple.
Share your recovery stories.
Celebrate the victories.
Support those still fighting.
And show your community that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE!
SHARE ALL PICTURES, STORIES, AND COMMENTS HERE PLEASE, we would like to be a part of the JOURNEY with you.
From Farmington to Albuquerque, Santa Fe and communities across our beautiful state — LET’S PAINT NEW MEXICO PURPLE FOR RECOVERY! 💜

Recovery isn’t only about what you leave behind, it’s about what you gain: connection, laughter, trust, purpose, and a life that feels good to live. This September, we’re celebrating the men at Brenda’s House of Hope and the community that makes healing possible.

Recovery is a process of building health, wellness, self-direction, and possibility. Supportive relationships, stable community, and meaningful purpose are powerful parts of that foundation.

During Recovery Month and Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, remember: connection matters, and you never have to carry everything alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for free, confidential support, anytime.

💜 INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY | AUGUST 31, 2026 💜
Today, we remember. We support. We prevent.
We remember the lives lost to overdose, the families and friends who carry their memories, and every person who is still fighting for another day.
At Cottonwood Pathways, we believe every life matters, every story matters, and recovery is possible. Overdose does not discriminate, and no one should have to face substance use, addiction, grief, or recovery alone.
Today is about more than awareness. It is about compassion instead of judgment, connection instead of isolation, and hope instead of stigma.
🕯️ For those we have lost — we remember you.
💜 For the families who continue to grieve — we stand with you.
🤝 For those still struggling — we see you.
🌱 For those in recovery — keep going.
💜 For our community — together, we can make a difference.
Take a moment today to remember someone. Say their name. Share their story. Check on someone you love. Learn about overdose prevention. And most importantly, remind people that asking for help is never something to be ashamed of.

❤️ SOMETIMES IT’S HARD TO TELL THE PEOPLE WE WORK WITH HOW MUCH WE CARE… BUT LET’S TRY.
We spend so much of our lives with the people we work beside every day. We laugh together, handle stressful days together, celebrate the wins, push through the hard moments, and sometimes we forget to say something really simple…
I appreciate you. I care about you. And I’m glad you’re here. ❤️
So today, let’s change that. Be Kind (In Loving Memory of)
Take a minute and tell one of your coworkers what they mean to you. Give somebody flowers. Tell them what you appreciate about them. Tell them why they make your day a little better.
You never know when a few genuine words might be exactly what somebody needed to hear.
At Cottonwood Pathways, we’re more than the jobs we do. We’re people supporting people — and that starts with how we treat each other. 🌳💚
TAG A COWORKER BELOW 👇 and tell them something you appreciate about them!

✔️Safety comes first because real growth takes trust. Every check, harness, and guided step helps create the kind of safe space where people can take healthy risks, be vulnerable, and discover what they’re capable of. 💪
The strength built out on the course does not stay there. It carries into everyday life: trusting others, asking for support, facing challenges, and taking the next step with more confidence.
