You thought you were doing better.

Then something happened.

A song.

A memory.

A conversation.

And suddenly, the emotions came rushing back.

Please remember:

A hard day isn't the same as starting over.

Healing isn't always a straight line.

Sometimes progress looks like recovering faster.

Sometimes it looks like responding differently.

Sometimes it simply looks like getting through the day without giving up.

💛 Be patient with the woman you're becoming.

“I think our marriage might be over.” 💔

Maybe you’ve thought those words.

Maybe you’ve even said them out loud.

You’re exhausted. Trust has been broken. You’ve tried talking, explaining, forgiving, praying, waiting, and hoping—and you’re beginning to wonder:

Is there anything left to save?
Before you decide that all hope is gone, I want you to know something:

We have seen women come into the WORTH Groups on the brink of divorce—and discover that their story wasn’t necessarily over.

Their first step wasn’t fixing their husband.

It wasn’t convincing him to change.

And it wasn’t carrying the responsibility for saving the marriage.

They began working on themselves.

🌱 Rebuilding confidence and self-trust
🌱 Remembering who they are and who they are becoming
🌱 Learning to establish healthy boundaries
🌱 Creating greater emotional safety
🌱 Learning how to act instead of constantly react
🌱 Finding their voice again
🌱 Getting clear about what they need and value
🌱 Receiving support from women who understand
And then, in some marriages, something begins to shift.

She does her work. He does his work.

Slowly, they begin to see each other differently.
There may be a conversation that goes a little better.

A boundary that is respected.
A moment of accountability.
A little more safety.
A little more peace.
A glimmer of connection.
A light-switch moment when you realize that maybe something really is changing.
Marriage repair doesn’t usually happen overnight.

It takes time, accountability, consistency, individual healing, new skills, and two people willing to do their own work.

And sometimes, a marriage that once looked like it was falling apart can begin to come back together.

Not by returning to what it was—
but by learning how to build something healthier, safer, and more connected.

There are no guarantees about the choices your spouse will make.

But you can begin your own healing.

You can strengthen your identity.
You can learn boundaries.

You can rebuild trust in yourself.
And you can become clearer and more confident about the life and relationships you want to create.

💚 If you are contemplating divorce and wondering whether there is any hope left, you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Come find support, tools, resources, and a community of women who understand in The WORTH Groups at Life Changing Services.

Your marriage may be struggling—but that doesn’t mean your hope, your healing, or your story has to end here.

You don't need to wait until someone understands your choices.

You don't need to wait until everyone agrees.

You don't need to have every detail figured out.

You can begin again.

One decision.

One boundary.

One goal.

One prayer.

One small step at a time.

Your future doesn't have to be determined by what someone else chose to do.

You still have agency.

And you still have a future. ✨

When Betrayal Changes the Path: Stay Bound to Christ
Join is now. Ask your questions in the comments.

How has your character and identity been shaped by your betrayal experience?

Has it changed how you see yourself?
What has helped you regain strength, courage, and confidence?
How are you diligently developing Christlike character, even while facing opposition?

Betrayal can leave you feeling as though you are navigating unfamiliar terrain blindly. The path you thought you knew may suddenly feel steep, rocky, and uncertain.

But you were never meant to navigate it alone.

In his April 2026 General Conference message, Jesus Christ Is the Way, Elder Brian J. Holmes shared the story of a blind runner who completed an intense marathon while tethered to a guide.

“Because he was bound to a guide, the blind runner accomplished what would otherwise be impossible alone.”

What a powerful image for healing.

There may be moments when you cannot see what is ahead. You may not know what will happen in your marriage, how long healing will take, or what the next chapter of your life will look like.

But you can choose who you will bind yourself to while you walk it.

Elder Holmes taught:

“Just as the band tethered the blind runner to his guide, covenants bind us to our guide—Jesus Christ.”

Think about your own journey.

Where have you seen the Lord helping you through the rocky places?

Where have you noticed His hand?

What tender mercies, unexpected strength, inspired people, answers to prayer, or quiet miracles have reminded you that you are not walking alone?

Betrayal may challenge your faith as well as your relationships. There may be days when your faith feels strong—and days when you wonder if you have enough strength to keep going.

Elder Holmes reminds us:

“When we have doubts, when discipleship feels demanding, when others turn back, that is the moment to stay bound to Christ.”

Your healing does not require you to see the entire road.

It requires you to keep turning toward your Guide.

What does daily faithfulness look like for you right now?

Perhaps it is praying when you don’t feel like praying.
Opening the scriptures when your mind feels overwhelmed.
Keeping a covenant.
Setting a needed boundary.
Choosing truth instead of fear.
Listening for personal revelation.
Recognizing a tender mercy.
Taking one more faithful step.

And perhaps part of developing Christlike character through betrayal is asking:

Who am I becoming because of what I am learning to do with this experience?

Betrayal does not get to have the final word about your identity.

You can intentionally cultivate courage, discernment, wisdom, compassion, integrity, patience, faith, confidence, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

And when the mountain in front of you looks impossible, remember Elder Holmes’s beautiful testimony:

“Because Jesus Christ climbed the steepest mountain of all as He bore the weight of our salvation, we never have to face our mountains alone.”

You do not have to climb this mountain alone.

You do not have to know every turn in the trail.

You do not have to accomplish the impossible through your strength alone.

Stay bound to your Guide.

Jesus Christ can strengthen you as you heal, help you remember who you are, and guide you toward who you are becoming.

I believe that in and through Jesus Christ, you can face even what feels impossible.

🌿 JOIN US FOR THE WORTH RETREAT — SEPTEMBER 16–19 NEAR KAYSVILLE, UTAH! 🌿

What if you gave yourself a few days to step away from the noise, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and intentionally focus on healing, safety, connection, and becoming?

💛 You are invited to the WORTH Retreat! 💛

📅 September 16, 17, 18 & 19
📍 Near Kaysville, Utah

This retreat is an opportunity for women who have experienced betrayal trauma to come together in a safe, supportive environment where you don’t have to explain why this has been so hard.

At WORTH, we believe healing is not simply about surviving what happened to you. It is about reclaiming your identity, strengthening your agency, creating safety, reconnecting with God, and discovering who you are becoming.

🌱 Come strengthen your Greenhouse.

Your Greenhouse is the environment you intentionally create around yourself—one that provides the safety, nourishment, support, and protection needed for healing and growth.

At the WORTH Retreat, we will create space to:

✨ Connect with women who understand betrayal trauma
✨ Strengthen your relationship with yourself and God
✨ Learn tools for calming and regulating your nervous system
✨ Reconnect with your identity, values, and purpose
✨ Build greater safety and emotional resilience
✨ Step out of isolation and into healthy connection
✨ Remember that there can still be hope, light, joy, and growth ahead

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come.

You don’t have to be “healed enough.”

You can simply come as you are.
Sometimes healing begins when we give ourselves permission to enter an environment where we can finally feel supported enough to exhale.

🌿 September 16–19 | Near Kaysville, UT
Come spend these days strengthening your Greenhouse, reconnecting with your light, and remembering that your story is still being written.
