Beginning in 1986, the Health Career Opportunity Programs (HCOP) at UConn Health have exposed more than a thousand students to a career in health sciences, with mentorship starting as early as middle school. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the program, alumni of the Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine gathered to honor the organization and the professors who helped make their dreams a reality.
