Before therapy, Joseph couldn't lift anything over 40 lbs, walking was uncomfortable, and stairs felt impossible. After knee surgery, everyday life had become a real challenge.

But Joseph didn't stop there. He came to Big Stone Therapies in Appleton, put in the work, and today he can walk normally and bend his knee without pain.

Coming full circle. 💙

Not long ago, Nate Treinen, PT, DPT, was sitting in the lecture hall at the University of Mary, listening to Big Stone Therapies stop by for a lunch and learn. This month, he got to flip the script.

Nate teamed up with our recruitment team to head back to his alma mater and spend time with UMary's first-year PT students, bringing insight, encouragement, and a few hard-earned tips as they get ready to step into their very first clinical rotation.

"It wasn't too long ago that I was in their seats listening to BST come through for lunch and learns, so it was a really cool experience getting the chance to talk to them about BST and help them get ready for their first clinical rotation," Nate said.

From UMary undergrad, to PT school, to caring for patients in Sisseton, SD, Nate is a picture of what it looks like to build a career with people who have your back.

To the future PTs at UMary: you've got this. We can't wait to see where you go. 💪

We’re excited to officially open an additional therapy space on the second floor of the Benson facility! 💙

The renovated area includes:
🧩 A dedicated pediatric therapy space
🚪 A private treatment room
🙌 More room to help more patients

Our team at Big Stone Therapies is growing right alongside the needs of the Benson community — and we’re pretty excited about this upgrade. 😊

This May, in honor of National Hearing and Speech Month, we want to celebrate one of our incredible speech-language pathologists and the families she serves. 💙

Kristy shared this about her two sons' experience with Diane Woolsey, SLP, at our Hallock, MN clinic:

"We are beyond thankful for the speech therapy our boys received from Diane. The progress they have made over the past year has been incredible to watch... Seeing that transformation has been such a blessing for our family."

Diane worked on so much more than words. Muscle exercises, oral movement strengthening, language processing. She treated the whole child, and it shows.

We are so proud to have her on our team. Thank you, Diane, and thank you, Kristy, for trusting us with your boys. 🙏

To our TSRs, Therapy Aides, Office Managers, and Supervisors: you are the first and last impression for every patient we serve. To our Administration team across Accounting, HR, IT, Billing, Compliance, Marketing, and beyond: you are the foundation everything else is built on.
Thank you for showing up, every day, for our patients, our clinicians, and each other. BST would not be BST without you.
