The ATF has announced changes to its enforcement of certain NFA registration and transfer requirements. Under its current enforcement guidance, qualifying transfers may proceed using ATF Form 4473 without prior Form 4 approval.

⚠️ This is an enforcement policy, not a repeal of federal law. Background checks, applicable laws, and other requirements still apply. Guidance may change in the future.

🚨 **IMPORTANT NFA UPDATE — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!** 🇺🇸

There have been some MAJOR changes to federal NFA enforcement policies, and we want to make sure our patrons understand what these changes actually mean.

✅ **YES!** Under the new federal policy effective October 9, 2026, certain NFA fi****ms, including suppressors, short-barreled r***es (SBRs), short-barreled sh***uns (SBSs), and Any Other Weapons (AOWs), may now be transferred using ATF Form 4473 without mandatory Form 4 approval.

⚠️ **BUT HOLD ON! THIS DOES NOT MEAN ALL NFA REGULATIONS ARE GONE!**

Several important requirements remain in place:

🔹 **Background Checks:** Form 4473 and applicable NICS background checks are still required.

🔹 **Age Requirements:** Depending on the fi***rm's classification and overall length, age restrictions still apply.

🔹 **State & Local Laws:** Just because federal enforcement policies have changed does NOT mean every state allows these fi****ms without additional requirements.

🔹 **Residency Requirements:** Federal and state residency restrictions still apply to certain transfers.

🔹 **Additional Regulations:** Waiting periods, state registration requirements, and other fi***rm laws may still apply.

🇺🇸 **OUR MESSAGE TO OUR PATRONS**

At Frontline Armory, we believe responsible fi***rm ownership starts with understanding the law.

We are excited about these changes, but we also want our patrons to have accurate information before making a purchase.

**The bottom line?** Just because something can now be transferred on a Form 4473 under the current federal policy does not automatically mean every purchase or possession is legal.

These changes are based on ATF's current enforcement policy, not a complete repeal of the NFA. Additional clarification and future changes are possible.

🚨 **BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR NFA UPDATE!**

Big changes are here for fi***rm owners, and Frontline Armory wants to make sure our patrons understand what this means!

📢 **Effective October 9, 2026, the ATF has announced a major change to its enforcement of the National Fi****ms Act (NFA).**

Under the newly announced federal enforcement policy, ATF approval and NFA registration are no longer required for:

✅ Suppressors (Silencers)
✅ Short-Barreled Ri**es (SBRs)
✅ Short-Barreled Sh****ns (SBSs)
✅ Any Other Weapons (AOWs)

**WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?**

The ATF will no longer require Form 1, Form 3, or Form 4 approval for these qualifying items under the NFA. Voluntary registration and applications will remain available.

⚠️ **BUT THERE ARE IMPORTANT DETAILS YOU NEED TO KNOW!**

This announcement does NOT eliminate every fi***rm regulation.

🔹 Federal background checks and Gun Control Act requirements remain in effect.

🔹 State and local fi***rm laws still apply.

🔹 Machine guns and destructive devices remain subject to existing NFA requirements.

🔹 Certain interstate transportation restrictions remain in place.

🔹 The ATF's announcement is an enforcement policy change, not a complete repeal of the NFA.

**WHAT IS FRONTLINE ARMORY DOING?**

As a veteran-owned fi****ms dealer, our responsibility is to protect our patrons while ensuring every transaction complies with applicable laws.

We are reviewing the ATF's official guidance and its impact on suppressor sales, transfers, and other NFA transactions. We want to make sure our patrons are protected and that we have the proper procedures in place before making changes.

**We are excited about this development, but we're not going to rush into transactions that could create legal problems for our patrons.**
