Meet Wiles: Funeral Attendant Stephan Bunker leads a life committed to public service. A proud 1967 graduate of Farmington High School, he went on to serve our country in the US Army Military Police Corps before building an extraordinary 40-year career in public safety, serving as a military and municipal police officer, deputy sheriff, corrections officer, EMT, emergency dispatcher, and police academy cadre. He also served 23 years in the US Coast Guard Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.

Stephan holds degrees in law enforcement technology and criminal justice, along with a Master's in Adult Education, and he shares his knowledge as adjunct faculty in the Maine Community College system.

When he's not serving our community, Stephan enjoys time at home with his wife, Cheryl, where they love gardening, landscaping, travel, and the outdoors.
