🧠 THEY DON’T HAVE TO BE KNOCKED OUT TO HAVE A CONCUSSION.
A concussion can happen after a hit or jolt to the head or body, and symptoms may appear immediately or hours later.
Watch for:
✅ Headache, nausea, or dizziness
✅ Balance or vision problems
✅ Sensitivity to light or noise
✅ Confusion, brain fog, or trouble concentrating
✅ Fatigue, sleep changes, or mood changes
If a concussion is suspected, the athlete should be removed from play and evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional. Returning too soon may delay recovery and increase the risk of another injury.
Concussion care is an important part of sports medicine. Potential Therapy Services is highly trained in concussion recognition and recovery, helping athletes safely return to sports and daily activities.
🏈 One game is never worth risking an athlete’s health.
