A lot of people notice their back actually feels better in the pool and there’s a reason.

Water helps take pressure off your spine while still letting your body move. Floating and swimming can:
💦 Decrease compression through the low back
💦 Let tight muscles relax
💦 Help you move more naturally without as much strain

But posture still matters.

Hours spent lounging with your low back arched, twisting awkwardly in a float, or carrying kids/coolers all day can still leave you stiff later.

A few easy wins:
☀️ Change positions often
☀️ Keep your core gently engaged while swimming or floating
☀️ Stretch when you get out
