Happy June Dairy Month!🥛🐄

This afternoon, Kayleigh visited a few daycare centers across Fayette County to deliver special treats and share some dairy fun with local kids!

June Dairy Month is a time to celebrate the hardworking dairy farm families right here in Fayette County who work every day to provide wholesome, nutritious dairy products. We enjoyed sharing the importance of dairy and helping our youngest community members celebrate local agriculture!

The Fayette County Farm Bureau Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country and honor their memory. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26, at 8:00 a.m.

This school year, Kayleigh had the opportunity to visit and teach 3,551 students through different Ag in the Classroom lessons and activities across Fayette County!🚜📚🌱

To wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, Kayleigh had her end-of-the-year party with the “Ag All-Stars” winner Ms. Althoff’s 3rd Grade Class! 🎉🐥

This class was always excited to learn, engaged in every Ag in the Classroom lesson, and never afraid to ask questions. From making ice cream, learning about sheep, exploring plant life cycles, to discovering how pizza ingredients come from the farm, they brought excitement and curiosity to every single lesson!🍦🐑🌱🍕

It’s safe to say there will be some future agriculturists coming from this class!🌽🐄

Kayleigh even got the chance to see their newly hatched chicks during the celebration, making the day even more special. What a fun way to wrap up an amazing school year!
