The confusing part is that different vial strengths use different syringe units.

Think of it like this:

A stronger vial has more medication in each mL, so you need less liquid to get the same dose.

☀️Option 1: 8 mg / 2 mg per mL

2.5 mL vial — $500

This vial contains 8 mg of Tirzepatide per mL.

Approximate dosing:

2.5 mg dose = about 31 units
5 mg dose = about 63 units

Because this vial is less concentrated, you pull up more units on the syringe.

This vial contains 17 mg of Tirzepatide per mL.
