Sometimes the hardest part of resting is realizing just how tired you actually are.

If you don’t feel instantly relaxed, that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. 🤎

Give yourself time to arrive.

If you’re always rushing from one thing to the next, slowing down doesn’t have to mean adding another wellness practice to your already-full day.

Sometimes it’s about changing what you’re already doing. 👇🏽

1. Stop at “enough.”
You don’t have to respond to that text immediately. You don’t have to finish the episode tonight. You can put the pen down on a project even when it isn’t completely done.

Everything doesn’t have to be finished right now.

2. Protect the transition.
When you get somewhere, sit in the car for a minute before rushing inside. When you’re walking from one place to another, slow your pace a little.

Let one thing actually end before you launch into the next.

3. Notice something you enjoy.
Look around. What do you actually see, hear, smell, or feel?

Maybe it’s the sunlight coming through the window. A song you love. The smell of your coffee. Something funny your kid said.

You don’t need to stop your whole day to be present. Sometimes you just need to let yourself notice that you’re already in it. 🤎

Which one do you need to practice this week: 1, 2, or 3?

You spend so much time checking on everyone else… when was the last time you checked in with YOU? 🫶🏽

Take five minutes today. You don’t have to fix anything. Just pause long enough to notice what you’re feeling and what you need.

That counts as progress, too. ✨

Just because you can handle it doesn’t mean you should have to handle it all. 🤍

Follow along for more encouragement.

Fell off track?

You don’t need to wait for Monday. You don’t need a fresh month. And you definitely don’t need to punish yourself for what didn’t happen last week.

Take a look at what’s actually important.

Pick your top 3.

Put them on your calendar.

Then take the smallest possible first step.

Getting back on track doesn’t require a dramatic comeback. It requires a return.

Start where you are. 🤍

Knowing what you need to do and feeling ready to do it are two very different things. 😂

Sometimes the next step isn’t about finding more motivation. It’s about making the step small enough that you can actually take it.

What’s something you KNOW you need to do but have been avoiding? 👀

September, I’m ready for you. 🍂✨

A new month doesn’t mean you have to reinvent yourself—it can simply be an invitation to pause, reset, and keep moving toward what matters.

New goals. New opportunities. New grace for the things that didn’t go quite as planned.

Here’s to a September filled with more peace, more joy, and little moments that remind you… you’re still becoming. 🤎

Happy September! 🥂✨

I’m so glad you’re here.

Before you keep scrolling, comment “One Day At A Time”

Then tag or send this to someone who’s carrying a lot right now.

You don’t have to do life alone. Let’s encourage each other.

You don’t need another perfect Monday.

You need a plan you can actually live with on a random Wednesday when you’re tired, busy, distracted, and not feeling motivated.

Consistency isn’t about doing everything perfectly.

It’s about learning how to come back.

Again.
And again.
And again.

We’re not chasing perfection over here. We’re building something sustainable. 🤍

Yesterday, nearly 600 people gathered to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday—and my heart is still so full. ❤️

For decades, my dad, known by many as the father of Black gospel in Japan, has poured his life into ministry, music, and bringing people together across this country.

Watching choirs travel from different regions of Japan to honor and celebrate him was incredibly moving. To see, firsthand, the impact he has had on so many lives was a gift I’ll never take for granted.

I’m so grateful to have had a front-row seat to this life with him—and even more grateful for the beautiful community that continues to love, honor, and support him.

Now, as part of the next generation carrying his torch, I’m excited to see where God will take us as we continue building on the legacy he’s created.

Happy 75th birthday to the best dad a girl could ever ask for. ❤️

I love you, Papa. Here’s to the legacy—and to everything still to come. 🎉
