🤝 Oak Hill, You Are Not Alone.
This Friday, April 17th, the “You Are Not Alone” Outreach event is coming to the Lively Family Amphitheater from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Sheriff Frank Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton are proud to bring this initiative to town. A special thanks to Mayor Charles Briscoe for coordinating with Sgt. B.J. Adkins, and to Chief Whisman and the OHPD for their partnership.
As Sgt. Adkins puts it: “No questions. No judgment—just help.”
Whether you or someone you know is facing struggles with mental health, addiction, or homelessness, we’ll have resources and peer specialists on-site to help immediately. Let’s come together to make our community stronger.

The Lewis Christian Community Center has received 3,872 meal orders and is asking the community for help with cooking, packaging, cleanup, and thawed turkey donations as Thanksgiving preparations intensify.

This week, we're all family. We have 15 turkeys on the smoker as we speak, and we will be giving away Thanksgiving dinners tomorrow (WEDNESDAY, 11/26) starting at 1pm until we run out. We're not taking reservations. We'll give out up to 8 meals per party. We hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving with a full belly on us, and we hope to see you tomorrow!
