Your body does not need a perfect routine. It needs consistent support. πŸ’ͺ

Try building these simple habits into your week:

🚢 Move every hour
πŸ‹οΈ Make time for strength training
😴 Prioritize quality sleep
🀸 Move in different ways

You do not have to change everything at once. Start with one habit you can repeat, then build from there.

If pain or stiffness is making it harder to stay active, a physical therapist can help you understand what may be contributing and create a plan based on your goals.

Not sure whether to reach for ice 🧊 or heat πŸ”₯?

A simple rule of thumb is to use ice for a newer injury with swelling or irritation, and heat for stiffness, tight muscles, or lingering aches without swelling.

Both can be helpful, but the best choice depends on what you are feeling and when the symptoms started. ⏱️

Still unsure what your body needs? A physical therapist can assess what may be contributing to your symptoms and help you choose an appropriate next step. πŸ’ͺ

We were honored to have Pillars With A Purpose contribute to the Henry County Back-to-School Fair this year! Our partner and Clinic Director, Kevin McWilliams, was on hand to present a $2,000 donation to help support local students as they head into a new school year. βœοΈπŸ“š

We’re proud to partner with organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to all those working to ensure local students have the resources they need for a successful school year!

πŸ“© A message from your PT: Don’t forget your home exercise program!

We know it’s easy to put your exercises on the back burner when life gets busy, but your HEP is an important part of your progress. πŸ’ͺ

The work you do between appointments helps build on what you’re doing in the clinic and keeps you moving toward your goals.

So, consider this your friendly reminder to make the time, stay consistent, and keep moving! Your future self will thank you. πŸ™Œ

And yes… your PT is going to ask if you’ve been doing them. πŸ˜‰
