Clifton Clyde Scogin, age 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on August 28, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born on March 14, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to OL Scogin and Mary Lee Tatom Scogin. Cliff graduated from J.L. McClellan High School in 1975 and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. Cliff finished up his college experience at SMU in Dallas, Texas, where he earned his Masters in Business Administration. On November 6, 1983, he married Linda Lucille Yancey at her family’s home just outside Mansfield, Arkansas. Cliff spent most of his working career in the financial services sector, last serving as CFO, COO and Executive Vice President of Help Card.
Cliff was baptized at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Little Rock and University Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, OL Scogin and Mary Lee Tatom Scogin. Cliff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda L. Scogin of Fayetteville; son, Connor Scogin and wife, Megan Cook and their children, Owen and Molly Scogin, all of Seattle, Washington; son, Tyler Scogin and wife, Emily Murray, and their daughter, Felicity Scogin, all of Huntsville, Alabama; and sister, Annette Scogin and spouse Lynn Fossum of Montgomery, Alabama.
