🌕 in Aquarius / ☀️ in Leo

Aquarius is the sign of the collective, the found family, the people who show up even when they’re not required to. Leo loves to be in the spotlight, and invites us to stop shrinking our light down to a size that’s easier for other people to handle.

Put those two together and you get this month’s circle. Not a performance, just a small gathering of people open to connecting and finding our place within a wider community.

If you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from your inner light or from feeling part of a community— come sit with us. That’s kind of the whole point.

In our monthly circles we do some gentle movement together, relax into a guided Yoga Nidra practice, and have some casual community connection around an intentional fire to close the evening.

I made the most beautiful fennel salad the other day and found myself with an abundance of gorgeous fronds left over — and I couldn’t bring myself to waste them.

So I cold-infused them. And honestly? It might be my favorite thing right now (until my Tulsi is in full bloom!)

Fennel is a wonderful digestive ally. It gently boosts Agni (digestive fire), eases bloating, cramping and gas — and as a cooling herb— it’s perfectly timed as we transition into the heat of summer. It helps keep the digestive tract cool, and because you’re sipping infused water throughout the day, it quietly supports hydration too.

Why cold infusion? Heat destroys the delicate volatile oils where so much of fennel’s medicine lives. A cold infusion preserves them beautifully.

How to make it:
Toss a generous handful of fresh fennel fronds into a jar with room temperature water. Let it steep for 2–12 hours. Strain and sip.

The flavor is mild and lovely — a soft kiss of citrus and licorice.

elements

🌨️ With winter weather approaching, we’ve decided to reschedule our apothecary open house. This feels like a time to ground, stay warm, and tend to what’s close.
