🌿🌸 A Beautiful Morning in the Garden! 🌸🌿
The Carolina Inn Garden Club had a wonderful time planting flowers, herbs, and vegetables with the help of Susie McFadyen, one of our resident’s daughters & a volunteer at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden, and Stevie from the Horticulture Team at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden!

We are incredibly grateful to the Cape Fear Botanical Garden and Susie for generously donating plants to our residence. As we planted, Stevie and Susie shared a wealth of knowledge about each plant, including root systems, soil needs, sun exposure, and the best conditions for herbs, vegetables, and flowers to thrive. Their passion and expertise made the experience both educational and enjoyable!

One of the highlights of the morning was watching the exchange of gardening wisdom between our residents and our guests. Stevie and Susie inquired about the tips and tricks our seasoned gardeners have learned throughout the years, making it a truly special and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Thank you, Stevie and Susie, for sharing your time, knowledge, and love of gardening with us. It was a beautiful morning filled with sunshine, friendship, learning, and growing! 🌱💚🌼

What a spectacular afternoon at Carolina Inn! Our residents and guests were delighted by the Fabulous 40’s Piano Program featuring the incredible Betty Howie, who at 99 years young continues to amaze audiences with her extraordinary talent and passion for music. 🎼🎹
Betty filled the room with beautiful melodies and cherished memories from a beloved era, while special guest soloist Zackary Tart added his wonderful voice to a couple of songs, making the performance even more memorable.🎤
The event drew a full house, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed this outstanding musical experience. Thank you, Betty and Zackary, for sharing your gifts with us and bringing so much joy to everyone! ❤️
