Mother’s Day can hold many truths at once. 💚
For some, today is filled with celebration, connection, and gratitude.
For others, it may bring grief, longing, estrangement, complicated relationships, infertility, loss, or the echoes of childhood trauma.
We want to gently acknowledge that this day is not easy for everyone.
To the survivors who are grieving the mother they needed but did not have…
To those navigating trauma, attachment wounds, or complicated family dynamics…
To those mourning mothers, children, pregnancies, or chosen family relationships…
To the caregivers who mother others while trying to heal themselves…
And to the people simply trying to make it through today with tenderness toward themselves—
You are not alone.
However this day meets you, your experience is valid.
You are allowed to celebrate, grieve, rest, disconnect, remember, or feel multiple emotions all at once.
May today offer moments of gentleness, safety, and self-compassion wherever possible. 💚
